SLEEPY IN PETCO

Sailor gets so excited to be in a pet store and then wears himself out. Shoppers can't believe that he's a puppy as he is so mellow. He just had a bath too so he has a cute green bandana on.

WALKING THE DOGS

When we go for walks, Sailor and Osa like to say hello to the collies, Lance and BiBi who live around the corner.  They are very sweet.  One is 4 and the other 11 (can't remember which is which) but both look young.  Kisses and nuzzles!

NEIGHBORS HOUSE BURNT

A week ago Tuesday, we were awakened by fire engines and police cars.  One of our neighbor's houses was burning due to a fire pit that wasn't quite out and started a  fire in their garage. They lost most of their home (abuot 75%) due to water and smoke damage.  Sailor and I took a walk by it and you could still smell the smoke in the air.  They had the really damaged part covered with a tarp and although a Lot of it looks okay from the outside, it is supposedly pretty FUBAR on the inside.   They are a nice family and they are all okay! 

PLAYING BY THE LAKE

Sailor and Duke love to play down by the lake.  We had some great weather over the weekend, so they had a good time.   Osa just kind of stands there but she doesn't really play much.  Nice looks cute in the midst of the dogs.  

Linc the Doberman

Poor Linc!  He hurt his leg, and it's not healing correctly, therefore the cone. 
His "mom" is our dog trainer, Libby.  She usually brings Linc to class.  He looked so sad and forlorn! 

HOSED

Sailor loves to chase the water that comes out of the hose. He also bites at it like it's a live animal. It's pretty funny to watch and makes us laugh.

THE GOOD LIFE

Sailor loves his day care and no wonder! When I take him, he practically runs to the door! They snapped some pics of him running around and swimming with his buds. At least one of us is living the good life!

NEW TOY

Finally, a toy that's big enough for him. He carries it around to all his "beds" around the house. This is the toy he got for his birthday. He chews on it a little, but it is pretty durable compared to some of the other ones he plays with and breaks right away.

DOG PARK

We tried a new dog park on Sunday - Staring Lake Park in Eden Prairie. It was pretty big and we weren't sure if he was going to totally run off and then we'd have trouble finding him (even though it was fenced off). He found a few new fur friends and had a good time. He took off once, but we found him easily. People jsut love him - he always gets attention!

BIRD WATCHING

Sailor loves to watch the birds (and of course chase them if he can). Today he decided he was just going to sit under the bird feeders and water and have the birds just come to him!
