SNOW PLAY

No matter how cold out (in this case about 5 degrees!), the pups love to get out and play. Osa just kind of stands around and occasionally will try and walk off quickly, and Sailor will chase after his toy, then run away from me. 

FRIENDS IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD

THIS IS DESI, THE BOXER PUP WHO LIVES DOWN THE STREET.  SAILOR HAD TO STOP AND SAY HELLO WHILE WE WERE ON OUR WALK YESTERDAY.  DESI JUST TURNED 1 YEAR-OLD.  CUTE!

EATING BONES TOGETHER

Osa and Sailor NEVER sit next to each other and eat bones cause Sailor ALWAYS steals Osa's, so this is an unusual contented situation.  They are harmoniously (wish I had the sound effects) chomping on their bones. 

ON OUR BED

Todd out of town right now so Sailor must have known he could take Todd's territory (on the bed) as last night when I was hitting the sack, he decided to jump up and sleep with me (of course he brought his toys with him).

PASSED OUT

WHEN SAILOR IS DONE, HE'S DONE AND LAYS JUST ABOUT ANYWHERE SURROUNDED BY TOYS AND BONES.  WHAT A BABY!

BEGGARS

Caught Osa and Sailor begging from Todd for his chicken.  Its amazing how they know the difference between their dog food and people food.  It's an immediate reaction! 

CODY THE NEWFIE PUPPY

Sailor has a new buddy at Day Care.  Meet Cody the Newfie puppy.  He's 5 months old, is brown and has green eyes.  Look at all that loose skin he's going to grow into.  What a cutie!!

SLED DOG IN EXCELSIOR

WE TOOK SAILOR TO EXCELSIOR DURING THE HOLIDAYS.  HE COULDN'T QUITE FIGURE OUT THE REINDEER SINCE HE'S NEVER SEEN ONE BEFORE, BUT THOUGHT HE WOULD LOOK GOOD PULLING THE SLED.

DOGS IN THE SNOW

No matter how cold it is, the pups like to go outside and hang out in the snow and watch for animals and "invading humans" over the side of the deck.  Sailor was so little last year, his first winter - compared to  this year at 121.3 lbs!  Osa is still hanging in there - she just turned 15 years old - she's sure seen a lot of winters!  We definitely want her to be around to go on the boat this coming summer. 

Toilet Paper

At 15 months old, you'd think Sailor would be done messing with the toilet paper.  Just when I think it's safe to put it back on the roller instead of on the counter or on the back of the tank where he can't reach it, he does this. . .   It's funny cause he doesn't really chew it, he just grabs and runs!
