A new Vikings Season

I We thought it would be cute to put Helga Braids on Sailor in honor of our new Vikings season. Well, he did not want to cooperate at all even though he is usually cool to have us put strange hats on him! I think it's cause he jsut got home from day care and he was distracted and tired. He looks like a cartoon do in these!

Looking for Mia
We've spent a lot of time looking for Mia, whether it's putting up flyers, driving around or walking the neighborhoods. Although we haven't found her yet (how upsetting!), Todd takes the dogs for walks hoping she will come walking down a driveway or be sitting on someone's front porch. Yesterday (after the PGA tournament), I took Sailor down to the lake for a swim. He took his tennis ball behind the shed and when he came out, I tried to grab the ball from his mouth. I got a handful of gushy stuff and when he dropped it I discovered it was some undefinable part of an animal. It had (GROSS) maggots it! UGH, UGH!. The fur looked similar to Mia's, so I screamed for Todd, He came down and looked all around the shed, but didn't find anything else - no more body parts or her pink collar. So another day with no word or anything. Here is Osa and Sailor helping look for Mia on their walks. . . .

MISSING MIA

We've been distracted this week. Mia the cat is missing (since last Saturday). We have looked EVERYWHERE and under everything, put flyers up, stopped at vets, called Animal Control. NOTHING. We are beside ourselves over this as she is the coolest, funniest, most human-like cat we've owned.
We miss her terribly. I haven't cried yet as I keep thinking she will come home.
A photo to honor her . . . .

Fishing with the Boys
Mike, Bennet and Adam came over as the boys wanted to go fishing. Right away the boys caught a bunch of fish. Sailor decided he had to see what was going on. It's funny as Adam and Bennet sometimes act like they are afraid of Sailor - and did later on this same day - but all seems harmonious right now!
