Toilet Paper
Even though Sailor just turned 15 months (on Christmas Eve) he still can't resist tugging at a roll of toilet paper that was just put on the roller. I thought he was past it, but uh, Not!

THE FIRST MATE
Sailor is still getting used to being on the boat. Although we put the boat away a few weeks ago, we took one last ride for the summer. he always has to crown Osa out of the way and be at the very front. He is so big, he makes the boat look very small.

SLEEPY IN PETCO
Sailor gets so excited to be in a pet store and then wears himself out. Shoppers can't believe that he's a puppy as he is so mellow. He just had a bath too so he has a cute green bandana on.

WALKING THE DOGS
When we go for walks, Sailor and Osa like to say hello to the collies, Lance and BiBi who live around the corner. They are very sweet. One is 4 and the other 11 (can't remember which is which) but both look young. Kisses and nuzzles!

NEIGHBORS HOUSE BURNT
A week ago Tuesday, we were awakened by fire engines and police cars. One of our neighbor's houses was burning due to a fire pit that wasn't quite out and started a fire in their garage. They lost most of their home (abuot 75%) due to water and smoke damage. Sailor and I took a walk by it and you could still smell the smoke in the air. They had the really damaged part covered with a tarp and although a Lot of it looks okay from the outside, it is supposedly pretty FUBAR on the inside. They are a nice family and they are all okay!

PLAYING BY THE LAKE
Sailor and Duke love to play down by the lake. We had some great weather over the weekend, so they had a good time. Osa just kind of stands there but she doesn't really play much. Nice looks cute in the midst of the dogs.

Linc the Doberman
Poor Linc! He hurt his leg, and it's not healing correctly, therefore the cone.
His "mom" is our dog trainer, Libby. She usually brings Linc to class. He looked so sad and forlorn!

DOG PARK
We tried a new dog park on Sunday - Staring Lake Park in Eden Prairie. It was pretty big and we weren't sure if he was going to totally run off and then we'd have trouble finding him (even though it was fenced off). He found a few new fur friends and had a good time. He took off once, but we found him easily. People jsut love him - he always gets attention!

Chewing on the Piggy
Sailor likes his squeaky piggy. He just kind of gums it with his teeth and doesn't really chew it up. He likes to jump on the bed with all his toys. Sometimes when I go in the bedroom there's like 5 toys laying there. He has 2 "toy boxes" around the house and knows where they are. He goes and gets his treats and toys and leaves them around the house like a kid. I'm always picking up after him.

Renaissance "Sauncer" Faire
We took Sailor to the Renaissance Faire - which is one of the largest in the country. We went with our friends Jen and Scott from Mankato and Lisa, who was in town visiting from Florida. We could hardly walk 5 steps before someone wanted to see and pet Sailor. He was such as magnet for people. It was funny to see the juxtaposition of modern clothes and the "Sauncers" dressed up like this pic with Todd in his t and shorts and "Gweneviere" and Merlin.
Also, your feet get so dirty. I thought this picture was so funny with Sailor's paws in the middle of it. Anyway, he had a good time getting attention, but it was a lot of work for us. We had fun though!
